This drink is the perfect way to wind down my week-long cocktail party. After all, M and I just recently returned from an amazing trip to Venice. This wasn't a drink we ever had there, but the name alone made it perfect. Add in that it's made with gin, which M loves and I can't handle, and it made for a perfect way to spoil my sweet husband and bring back memories of our perfect, romantic, unforgettable week in Italy.
But don't be fooled--just because the name has "sunset" in it doesn't mean this is an easy sipping drink for the front porch. This bambino is NO JOKE. It's strong and it's good. So bottoms, up readers. Here's to a great week of celebrating, a great giveaway (details below), and many more years of food and fun here on Apple a Day. Cin cin!
